Our Advanced Retriever Training Program is for the competitive client looking to compete with their dogs in either akc derby's or qualifying.

​

Our basics program for derbys is a 18 month training program. We recommend them starting this at 6 months old. The derby dogs are typically ready to compete around the age of 18 months until they are 2.

​

For the qualifying we take everything we have learned from our basics & build on it from there to get the dog ready for the qualifying event, which include more advanced marking concepts & blinds. Typically this is for the dog of ages 2-4.

 

This training includes obedience, collar conditioning, force fetch, 3 handed casting & pile work, double T & swimby, de- cheating, cold land & water blinds, marking concepts, multiple marking, retired guns (short & long), posion birds, wipeout birds, 

 

This cost for our Advance Retriever Training $950 a month.  This fee includes all costs for training and all necessary care for your dog.
